1 ½ cups fresh strawberries,
stemmed, or 12 oz. Frozen unsweetened strawberries
½ cup milk
1 ½ cups heavy cream
2/3 cup sugar
1 tbs. Vanilla extract
2 tbs. Triple Sec, or orange-flavored liqueur
dash salt
Place strawberries in a blender or food
processor and puree. Add remaining ingredients
and process until smooth. Cover and refrigerate
until ready to freeze. Blend for a few seconds
before pouring into the ice cream maker.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for
freezing.
Makes: about 1 quart
